Helping couples talk about money- and everything underneath it
Does this sound familiar?
You avoid talking about money, or keep your real feelings about it to yourself
You feel alone in your relationship, or like you're carrying it all
You want a teammate, not a scorekeeper
You're not sure where the money goes, or you feel like you're living paycheck to paycheck
You're unclear about retirement, or what you actually need
You worry about making a mistake with money
Scarcity has crept into your thinking, and "enough" feels like a moving target, whether it's money, work, or fun
Home, family, work, and joy feel out of balance
Your money choices leave you dissatisfied, as if your spending doesn't reflect what matters to you
If you nodded at even a few of these, you're in good company, and you're not stuck.
What couples walk away with
Deeper connection through honest, less charged conversations
Trust and openness around money, finances, and life
Clarity about what each of you truly desires
Hope for a shared life vision you're excited to build
Pride in how you work together as a team
Ready to be on the same team?

In coaching, we make it safe to talk about the things that have been hard to say. You'll get curious about what money means to each of you, name what you each want, and build a shared vision for your life. Then we translate that vision into everyday choices you both feel good about.

Beyond the Budget Retreats is our signature retreat experience: a few days away together, away from routines and phones, to reconnect around your shared life together and each other. It's not a finance seminar and it's not a couples' getaway in the usual sense. It's both, held together with intention, in a setting built for the kind of conversations that are hard to have at the kitchen table. You'll leave with more than a relaxing weekend; you'll leave with a shared vision and a clearer way of talking about money together.

The thing almost nobody schedules — but the couples who do it feel the difference. It's a scheduled time — sometimes monthly, sometimes weekly, where we actually get on the same page: expenses, income, the vacation coming down the pike, the stress that's been building. Make a plan together to meet, make an agenda, celebrate the wins and keep meeting!
Money conversations, made easier — for partners building a life togetherWe created the Intentional Partnership Collective because we keep seeing the same pattern: people doing the “right things” with money on paper, but still feeling disconnected from what they were building together in life.
As a married couple, we've lived in the space where financial decisions, career demands, and relationship dynamics all overlap. We know how easy it is to stay in constant motion, planning, optimizing, achieving, without ever creating space to actually step back and ask: is this the life we want together?
As a psychologist (Angela) and a relationship-focused practitioner (Lisa), we've also seen how rarely couples get the opportunity to slow down and explore money and connection in the same room. Financial conversations often feel technical or stressful. Relationship work often stays separate from practical life decisions. But in reality, the two are deeply intertwined.
We bring those conversations together through workshops, education, programming, and intensives, drawing equally on therapy and financial coaching to help couples work through both the emotional and practical sides of building a life together. It's guided time to reflect, realign, and reconnect with what matters most.
The Intentional Partnership Collective is for couples who are building something together and want to do it with more clarity, alignment, and intention, attending to the financial, emotional, and relational pieces alike.
We built this because we needed it too.
